Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actress who became famous in the film Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her movie Piano won her an Oscar. Actresses have a lengthy career of involvement in Broadway, Off-Broadway and other productions. It has always been her love of life. In the fifth grade she played Helen Keller in an original production. Following a bout of Mumps, she was deaf on one side the ear. This did not stop her ambition to become an actor. After studying drama in college after which she relocated to New York City with her ambitions in mind. After a casual encounter, she got trapped in an elevator along with writer Beth Henley and the two collaborated in the Broadway Crimes of the Heart' which was Hunter's first performance. The first time she appeared in a film was when she moved from Los Angeles. She has since appeared in several television series, films as well as movies throughout the span of her 30-year career. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity and has been awarded the Women in Film Lucy Award.
